RE: Does the problems ever stop???

New or used problems come up, when you look back on the problems they don't seem so bad once you know how it is fixed. In the end fun and good times rule out, at least in our case it does.

RE: Does the problems ever stop???

It's a tough first year when they are new. The problems seem endless but eventually you will get through them. When you look back while you are camping and having a great time they will not seem so bad. Think of them as learning experiences, and be glad you are under warranty! Nice rig you have by the way.:)

RE: Remodeling-Getting Rid of those Awful Mirrored Doors

Great job! It looks very professional. Most coaches don't have a place for a laundry basket.

RE: Towing a Smart Car

On our way across the country this fall we saw a Smart being towed at a Flying J. Don't know if it was modified but it sure looked cute.

RE: What type of rig?

started in a 2000 Forest River Georgetown as a learning experience, now live in a 2007 HR Admiral. Very comfortable and enjoying every minute.

RE: Thoughts on Full Wall Slides

Love our open floorplan, some underlay at the back end of the slide came loose and tore, Momaco had a steel plate installed and has been fine since. The closet space and pantry are great for full-timing.

RE: Gaylord Maxwell passed away Saturday

I saw him at the rally in Bend, Ore. last year. A big loss for the RV community. He had a great life though.

RE: Cleaned fresh water 4months ago-do it again?

We sanitize once a year, you should be fine. We do double filter our drinking water though.

RE: information or opinions on two types of motorhomes

Be careful with any older Forest River, they are prone to leaks and can have a lot of costly damage. Don't ask how I know this.

RE: Ahhhh - Fall is here

No, it doesn't get much better than this time of year. Walked the dog through the nearly empty campground and had a breeze and small shower of little yellow leaves. Awesome!!!

RE: Crying A at the Flying J

Even if he was wrong you don't need to be rude to a paying customer.

RE: Very Close to a New 2009 HR Admiral

We full time in our 07 Admiral and are very happy with it. There have been some issues but Monaco has stepped up and taken care of all. I do question the quality control of these things coming out of the factory, Tiffin might be better but we love this floor plan. Good luck with what ever you purchase.

RE: For Employers - Workamper Package

We prefer positions that charge a reasonable fee for the site and pay for all hours worked. We also need to know how many hours we will be working. Currently we pay $200 month and our next position is $85.00 a month for site. We would not mind working hours for site but it seems to be $700-900 a month after you do the math. That just does not make financial sense to us.

RE: What to look for in a full time RV spot?

Even if you don't use the restrooms I always check condition and cleanliness. That is a good indication of good or bad management. Also agree with other on enforcing rules. We stayed at one that said no rigs over 10 years old but they let well kept "classic" rigs stay, but also saw some junkers be sent down the road. I like places like that. Also look for friendly helpful staff, that is important especially long term. Have fun!!!

Anybody have any experience with this campgound? They have an ad in Workcamper and looks good. Love the Oregon coast not too many paying jobs there though. Thanks,

RE: Damon Challenger 2008-service issues resolved

That is very nice to hear, it isn't easy getting to a factory paying for the gas helps. I don't know what is wrong with some of these dealers, they just don't seem to care.
